We’re heading into the final stretch of 2011 and Christmas is but a few days away. I’ve been inundated with requests from Bingo-Room followers and fans for an expose on Bingo Advent Calendars. As the proverbial genie in a bottle says ‘Your wish is my command!’
Isn’t it fantastic that we’ve navigated yet another successful year together? Well some of you may well be wondering about the merits of a testing year, but I’ll say this much: we’ve made it through to Christmas and the Festive Season is upon us. It’s a fascinating and thoroughly entertaining time of year. I’ve always loved the holiday season and regardless of your faith, this is a time of year when everything is just more celebratory, memorable and family oriented. And in the spirit of the festive season, I’ve decided to put together a little piece on the concept of a bingo advent calendar. To those of you who have been following this blog for some time, you’ll no doubt recall the last Advent Calendar piece which was quite a hit with our fan base too J
The Lead-up To Christmas Has Never Been This Great!
This year I want to get it right! Advent calendars really aren’t that great unless they’re provided in the run-up to Christmas. You see an Advent Calendar is basically a countdown to Christmas. Now you’ve got that in mind, let’s see what we can conjure up for the purposes of bingo entertainment action. As a matter of fact the word ‘advent’ means ‘arrival’ and that’s a simple way of saying that it’s a calendar that prepares for the arrival of Christmas. The advent kicks off on the 4th Sunday before Christmas – that would be late November of 2011. So – we’re in safe territory this time around. I know of many folks around the world who decorate their homes and their yards in anticipation of the Festive Season. There’s no way around it – it’s stunning. Words fail me when I walk around neighborhoods and see the magic of the season in the air. Families will have their Christmas stocking up on their mantelpieces, their trees up in the corner and lots of terrific food throughout the holiday season.
And yes – Bingo gaming is always on the menu 
All the leading online bingo rooms have some terrific specials in store for patrons in the run-up to Christmas. And it doesn’t matter whether you’re celebrating it or not – this is Festive Season for one and all and there are promos and gifts aplenty flying around at every turn. I’m going to leave it at that – but I will say that perhaps it’s wise to make up your own bingo advent calendar with a list of fun-filled bingo games themed around the holidays!
