In the ongoing quest for entertainment nirvana, I’ve taken an entirely new approach to finding exciting ways to play the world’s most social gaming phenomenon. Welcome to this week’s edition of Bingo-Room. I assure you folks that this is something way different
I quite enjoy scanning the virtual libraries for information on the hottest trends and phenomena on bingo gaming. Recently I came across a terrific concept and I was really excited to share it with you guys. Imagine taking a trip in the clouds – on a trans-Atlantic voyage perhaps – to a new and exciting destination. Sometimes those journeys can get terribly boring and uncomfortable. I’ve oftentimes found myself being squeezed between a rock and a hard place on cattle-class flights. While many of us would much rather prefer to fly first class, this is simply not an option that the standard traveler can afford.
But wait – there’s a terrific solution to easing the boredom of long-haul flights
Imagine being able to break the back of your journey by playing your favorite game of bingo. That’s right – I was simply gob smacked when I saw the following YouTube video click of Bingo at 35,000 feet. What a rush! I tell you folks I was rushing to post comments on the BigBadBingo blog and commend them on this fabulous gaming concept. For the purposes of simple gaming, the bingo caller on this flight was the steward. The bingo basket was a manually operated device and all players participating have to manually mark off (daub) their cards (random numbers) with little bingo markers. As can be seen in this video, players were calling out ‘Bingo!’ at will. It was one of the most exciting online videos I’ve ever seen related to the game of bingo.
If you’re wondering what the prizes on offer were, then you need look no further than the sky high gift shop. I laughed myself silly when I saw the dude wearing the cheesy hat he’d been awarded for his gaming exploits. If the video is a little impractical – or too far removed from reality, there’s always another great way to play airplane bingo that doesn’t require you to actually fly to enjoy the flying theme. Let’s take a quick look at another way to play the game with the same theme without the expense of flying. As you folks are no doubt aware, I’ve been punting all sorts of bingo-themed games. These range from Baby Shower Bingo to Bridal Shower, Valentine’s Day and many others.
Here’s how this game is played: select a bingo theme with all sorts of aviation and passenger icons. These include bottled water, peanuts, gift-shop items, headphones, movie icons, skyscrapers, clouds, airport tower and all other similar ideas. The goal is to have these items in the bingo basket and call them out in as random a manner as possible. Here’s an idea of what I’m talking about – enjoy it!
If you’ve played airplane bingo then I’d love to read about it. Share your thoughts with our readers. Rest assured that all comments will be moderated and posted. Thanks for your patronage.

This is not a boring flight. Is this a simulation game or a real flight with real bingo on board? I t looks really real to me. Where did you find this video clip

Do you have any idea how many long, boring flights I’ve been on… my word – i have been bored stiff on those long-haul, trans-Atlantic voyages. Happy there’s an alternative… bingo on board it should read
