Greetings and salutations to one and all! It’s great to be back with you guys. After not having posted for just a couple of days. But in my absence. I’ve been fortunate enough two. Have sifted through lots of delicious feedback from Bingo-Room fans. and I believe we’ve hit jackpot gold with this exciting entry that you’re about to read. Take note that this post comes straight out of the horses mouth – no doctoring, no ‘fixing up’. Enjoy the letter from this avid bingo fan!

The first time I played bingo was as a young child, at a New York hotel. The hotel had skiing and lavish meals and a small, charming town surrounding it, but what drew my presence again and again was the bingo hall. The bingo hall was always packed full, with adults sitting at long tables, studiously watching their bingo cards and staring with anticipation as each new bingo ball was called. Not long after I started playing this simple but alluring game at the resort, I got the chance to yell, “Bingo!” I don’t remember what prize I won. Instead, I remember the cascade of the numbers falling into place on my bingo card, the tidiness and thrill of winning.

Bingo-Room comes into the picture…

I didn’t play all that often after that, for many years. In fact, it wasn’t until a friend sent me a link to Bingo-Room.com a few months ago that I took up my love for bingo for good. This friend of mine—he always sends me links to excellent things on the Internet, so even though I wasn’t in much of a bingo mindset when I opened his email (or at least, I didn’t think I was), I went directly to the website.

The moment of truth: inspiration beyond compare! (okay, I admit I added that line in! )

On Jeremy Stersky’s multifaceted site, rich with resources, I found much to recommend about the game of bingo. I had forgotten the excitement of it, the electricity of a group of people in a race against each other to win, the speeding joy of finally being able to yell, “Bingo!” Bingo-Room.com reminded me about all of this, and more. It introduced me to the world of online bingo, how to play “on the cheap,” and online bingo safety tips. There were links and reviews to great online bingo sites, with tons of information about what to expect, and how to make the most of my visits to these sites. I was sold, even before I clicked through to the gaming sites. Mr. Stersky has that talent, to enthrall you with his own passion: bingo in all its incarnations.

What’s so great about this site, what keeps it from collecting dust in the list of bookmarked sites I’ve completely forgotten about, what keeps me coming back constantly, is that it has pretty much everything bingo. Mr. Stersky himself claims on the blog part of his site that his goal is “to cover as much bingo material as is humanly possible.” On Bingo-Room.com, you can find a fascinating article about the history of bingo (which is descended from sixteenth-century Italy’s Lo Giuoco del Lotto d’Italia), compelling points about the benefits of bingo for children (kids can answer math problems on their bingo cards to figure out if their numbers have been called), and just about a million ways to make playing bingo a social experience (Facebook! MySpace! Charity events!). Mr. Stersky has even described a way to teach children about nutrition through bingo.

The real reason why I love Bingo-Room

My friends and I are like hundreds of users of Bingo-Room.com, in that we use our Facebook profiles to comment on articles and recommend them to each other. The ability to do this really increases the social aspect. The site helped me discover 90-ball bingo, which is the most popular type in the UK. In this game, your bingo card (or “ticket”) has three rows and nine columns, and as the name implies, there are 90 balls. In each row, five of the squares have numbers and the remaining four are blank. Unlike American 75-ball bingo, there is no Free square in the center or anywhere else on the ticket. In 90-ball bingo, you can win by marking off any of the three horizontal rows, any two of the rows, or by marking off a “full house,” which is all the numbers on your ticket. The prize varies depending on which of these you accomplish, and believe me, this game is exciting. When I first heard about it, I thought it sounded too simple, but Bingo-Room.com gave such a compelling description of it that I had to try it, and now I play it all the time!

I’m so glad my friend sent me a link to Bingo-Room.com, because it’s totally changed gaming for me. I know so much more about bingo now, though the site teaches me that there’s always more to learn! I really love this site, and I can’t wait to see what else it brings to us bingo players in the future.

Wow! I couldn’t have said things better myself. with all this fantastic feedback that we are receiving at this site, it really encourages me and motivates me and my team of bingo aficionados to continue in our quest. We love what bingo can do, what bingo is doing and what bingo has done. This truly is the most social game in the physical and virtual world. Enjoy the game folks

Bingo-Room is continually receiving terrific feedback from fans the world over. My team and I recently came across a letter from a delightful lady named Aurelie. To be fair, the letter about bingo is from Pierre and Aurelie. We decided to share this exciting slice of feel-good merriment with all of you. Enjoy the commentary and welcome to the world of Pierre and Aurelie

It’s a bingo world. I am happily a part of it in my cozy apartment in France. Online bingo – I don’t even have to leave my abode. After returning home from my American university, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in math, I discovered bingo on the computer, and have been enjoying it ever since. My day job doesn’t interfere with bingo, and bingo doesn’t interfere with my day job. My boyfriend loves me, and he really likes online bingo. He brings over his laptop, and the two of us play bingo each evening for hours. Pierre & Aurelie, Aurelie & Pierre.

The local secondary school needed to raise some money, to send the seniors to Costa Rica for their graduation trip in 2011. Many of the parents could not afford the expense, so the school held a Bingo Night! Almost all of the adults in my whole town showed up. My boyfriend and I had a great time playing bingo with everyone we’ve know our whole life. It was so successful that it paid for the entire trip. There was no cost to any parent!

Money is serious business. There is a question as to the importance of money in a game like bingo. It’s true that winning a pot of gold is exiting. However, winning a bingo game is also exiting. Is it necessary to enhance the joy of simply winning at bingo by throwing in a gold nugget? Big business runs hand-in-hand with a fast-paced, technological society. I can see the use of bingo as a cash cow for charity. It appears to me, however, that the down-home character of the game gets a bit smudged when the pot filled with gold is thrown into the mix.

Bingo is mostly a positive game. It’s easy and fun. Winning is a blast! I guess it turns into a negative if a person begins to pay out money over their head when they’re playing. But it’s like everything else: Too much of a good thing changes the “good” to “bad”.

I’ve been reading about people stealing from live bingo games. It must be quite a temptation to hold everyone’s money in your hand. I feel sorry for the people who get caught. What a devastation! Maybe “they deserved it”, but good people get blindsided from time to time. Anyway, it seems that playing bingo through the internet may be more secure than paying money for a live game. Maybe yes, maybe no.

There are many online bingo rooms. Most of them are money, money, money, promo, promo, promo, and nothing else. What a waste. Bingo is community, excitement, just plain fun. In a complicated universe, bingo is simple and forever the same. It carries a smile.

The best online bingo site that I have found is Bingo Room. The person who runs that blog, Jeremy Stersky, is a human being. He creates a person-to-person communication with all of the individuals who plug onto his site. The community feeling that I get at live bingo games is the same aura I perceive from the positive energy of Bingo Room. It comes alive for me and also for my boyfriend. There’s a good karma of joy and camaraderie; something for everyone – a lot of games and a good variety, news that interests bingo players, personal comments between Jeremy Stersky and the participants, a perception of compatible care and empathy, somehow a similar mode of thought. Bingo Room is definitely the best in my opinion.

You might be interested to know that Bingo itself originated in my Europe. The government of Italy in the 16th Century initiated “Lotto” as a means of support for the fledgling country. Today, Lotto is a major source of income to the government of Italy.

America caught onto the popularity of the game in the 1920’s when the owner of a struggling game company, Edwin Lowe, happened to see “Beano” played at a carnival. He set up a game in his home and invited friends. The woman who won was so exited, that instead of saying Beano, she yelled out “Bingo” by mistake. Ed Lowe knew a winner when he heard it, and re-named the game “Bingo”.

Perhaps you’re wondering how I know so much about bingo. Well, I took a statistics course as part of my mathematics program. For that class, I did a study of the history of bingo and the statistical probability of winning. It was much more interesting than my differential equations course.

Bingo is part of my universe. Happily so.

And we’d like to say thanks to you guys for this terrific slice of bingo opinion, news and history. Keep us updated about your bingo gaming exploits, wherever you play – online or at traditional bingo halls. We look forward to lots more feedback from all you guys. Keep on gaming

Greetings and salutations to bingoheads the world over! Welcome to the blog that prides itself in its international flavour! I’m thrilled my team – Jess and Adam – have sifted through copious amounts of Bingo-Room fan mail. What we’ve conjured up is a terrific letter from a fan in Italy – enjoy it

Allow me to introduce Adriana – an avid bingo fan –

‘To Jeremy and fans of Bingo-Room,

I’m a big gaming fan and I love bingo. And much of my prosperity is thanks to none other than Bingo-Room and the founder – Jeremy Stersky.

Legal Bingo, that’s for me, Adriana, born in Italy, raised in the States, living in Italy since my pre-teen years. I’m the daughter of divorce, the wife of a teacher, the mother of a baby boy. Happy is my middle name. I love online bingo. It makes my days fly enjoyably along. I play while my little one naps or plays in his playpen.

You might not know it, but bingo started in Italy hundreds of years ago. It was called Lotto, and was utilized to support the government. America, that fast, sharp and wonderful country, didn’t plug into bingo until the early 20th Century. Five years ago, Italy embarked on a gaming reform ship. It’s been in the process of reforming gaming laws ever since, taking a pioneering approach to online gaming legislation. And the world hasn’t come to an end. Gamers aren’t going bankrupt. Life as we lived it 10 years ago, is still life as we live it now. America may catch up.

Gaming Laws in Italy

Let me tell you a bit about Italian gaming laws. Why? Because it’s interesting and can serve as a model for future American legislation. Also because I like to chat, and writing online is as good as the telephone. Anyway, there’s a government agency called AAMS, which in English is Autonomous Administration of the State Monopolies. All gaming, betting, lotteries and games of chance are regulated by AAMS, and must be in compliance with fit and proper laws, regulations and licenses. The gaming laws in Italy really work. People love online bingo. I’m one of those zillion people. Online game rooms make money, and the license fees and taxes pay for much of our government services.

Online Bingo with Jeremy Stersky

My favorite online bingo home is Bingo-Room. There are many reasons. The most important is Jeremy Stersky. He loves bingo as much as I do, and his enthusiasm is felt in all of his communications. The whole website is happy. It’s a real experience to play bingo and read the comments and replies on www.Bingo-Room.com.

All the other online bingo sites dwell on money and promos. Jeremy Stersky dwells on fun. There’s a great variety of bingo games on Bingo-Room, like 30, 75, 80 and 90 ball bingo, tournament bingo, instant bingo, jackpot bingo, team bingo, FREE bingo and poker bingo. You can even customize your bingo card. Something for everyone. Free bingo includes many games: Bejeweled Video Slots, XFactor Scratch Cards, Cleopatra Slots; Bingo Winners, 6 Card Bingo, How the West was Won Scratch Cards, 3D Roulette, and Free Scratch Cards. These free games are really FREE. They have a no-download instant gaming format. Bingo isn’t only about money. In fact, it’s really about having fun.

Live Italian Bingo

We haven’t discussed live bingo yet. That’s the best. Once a week, my husband and I hire a babysitter and enjoy an evening of live bingo with our friends. It seems like our whole community goes there. Whenever someone wins, everyone gets excited. Meeting at live bingo gives all of us a chance to catch up on what’s happening in our corner of the world in the fabulous city of Roma. Art comes alive where I live. Maybe it’s the sunshine, Italian élan, simple living patterns, appreciation for good wine and comfortable relationships. Maybe it’s everything. Don’t get me started. I’m in love with Roma. Anyway, after bingo a bunch of us go out for wine and ice cream. Yes, we have ice cream in Italy!

Charitable Bingo Laws

Bringing my parachute down to earth, let’s talk about charitable bingo. Even in the United States there’s a Senate bill right now to legalize charitable bingo operations. It seems that the wall against online gaming is slowly but surely dismantling. In Ontario, Canada, there’s a charitable gaming revitalization initiative going on. That’s because they recognize that local charities win with bingo and other gaming operations. No less than 48 American States have charitable bingo and raffle laws. Hawaii and Utah are the only states that have no laws dealing with the charitable gaming industry.

Bingo and charitable raffles are common exemptions from state anti-gambling laws. Most states do not have express internet prohibitions. Some states even allow social gambling with strict monetary limitations. Very interesting stuff to someone like me who lived in the States for many years. I don’t understand why every country doesn’t follow Italy’s example.

Say, Jeremy Stersky, why don’t you come to Italy? We’ll rent you a Bingo room and Live Bingo Roma will be yours!”

And there you have it folks, fan mail from one of my favourite European countries. I love Italy and this slice of Italian munificence really warms my heart. So congratulations to you Adriana – you’ve made my day. I know that other bingoheads are going to have a fantastic time reading this article. Everyone out there, feel free to write in and share your bingo-related experiences

The Philippine Bingo – Why [...]

Greetings and salutations to bingo fans the world over! We’ve been receiving lots of exciting blog posts right here on bingo-room. Our latest opinion piece comes from a Filipino fan of bingo-room. Her name is Janie Lin and she’s a bingo aficionado par excellence! Here’s her story – enjoy it folks!

The Philippine Bingo – Why It Will Always Be a Part Of the Filipino Culture

Bingo started as a form of recreation. Today, it has evolved into something more worthwhile. Who thought playing bingo could help millions of people make their lives better?

My name is Janie and I am a bingo lover!

I was born and raised in the Summer Capital of the Philippines – Baguio City. Since I was a child, my parents brought me and my brother to different towns and barrios so that we could experience living in rural areas as well, even for a while. My grandfather was a farmer and it was fun seeing farm animals up close, harvesting vegetables and sleeping on wooden floors. Though spending the whole day without television was not as exciting, there was one more thing that made a mark on me and my brother, Brian – the game bingo.

In small barrios here in the Philippines, gambling games may only be the means of recreation. Small towns conduct fiestas or “peryas”, a temporary amusement park, every now and then where bingo is the number one attraction for visitors and residents alike. Others gamble their money to win more while others simply enjoy being with their families while playing the game. We started the same way. We even got to the point where we bought our own bingo set. During parties like birthdays or graduations, the whole family would play bingo. We used small tiles instead of markers to daub on the cards because we did not have a budget to buy a new set of cards every now and then. We had to reuse them but it was still a lot of fun, nonetheless.

Over the past few years, Brian and I grew up with the bingo industry in our country. Today, when you visit a mall or shopping center, you will immediately find designated areas for bingo. That is how much Filipinos love bingo. That is how much bingo has been a part of the Filipino tradition and culture. Up until now, I still find this game as a stress reliever. Lucky me! There is a bingo hall near my office. My colleagues and I usually go there during Fridays before we have our usual company night out. Tourists are stunned at the sight of bingo halls in our country. All walks of life can be found inside bingo halls. The masses, the elite, the elders, the young, anyone imaginable!

There are different kinds of bingo games. There are 5×5 cards, 9×3 cards and others. However, the more popular kind here in our country is the 5×5 type with the ‘free’ slot in the center. Personally, I think it is because it is easier to form patterns from this card and the instructions are less complex. Thus, more chances of winning.

Without a doubt, bingo is indeed wide spread in urban and rural areas alike. Alongside its evolution was an opportunity for the Philippines to improve as a country. That is why I, along with my family and friends, continue to support the Philippine Bingo scene. The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation focuses on how to generate revenues from bingo and use that money to help the less fortunate. Once in our lives, we were also among those children who had to share books in school and, believe me, it was not a sweet experience. PAGCOR works hand in hand with government sectors to implement projects that continuously improve the lives of all Filipinos.

PAGCOR just recently launched a program along with the Department of Education. The program aims to construct 100 learning centers in different communities. Facilities like computers, viewing aids, books, tables and chairs will be funded by the company as well. Confiscated logs from illegal logging will be used to create tables and chairs. Resourcefulness at its best, if you ask me! It is public knowledge that health care services are unreasonably expensive in the Philippines. PAGCOR reaches out to the impoverished by providing medical and dental services which will usually cost a normal Filipino citizen a month’s salary to acquire. Their number one targets are depressed areas or those that were battered by calamities.

Bingo has evolved indeed. More people are even able to play the game because of technology. Online bingo and handheld bingo devices are now available. The disabled, the elders and the busy people, like me, can play anytime. Furthermore, every time I buy a bingo card, I think of the child I can send to school, the abused woman I can help, and the less fortunate that I can feed.

Take it from a bingo lover. Bingo is here to stay!”

Bingo-Room is here to report on all the latest news, reviews and happenings in the world of bingo. As your host, I will bring you the information as it is – without fear or favour. Thanks for joining us once again, right here at the world’s favourite online Bingo-Room blog!

A series of bingo stories has been making its rounds in the UK and beyond. We’ve been pretty fortunate to receive lots of exciting feedback from our readers and our fans from all four corners of the globe. I’ve been particularly impressed with stories emanating from Latin America – such as our Mexican bingo player who wrote in – and other fan-based mail that we’ve been receiving. So thanks guys for participating and providing us with invaluable feedback. We appreciate it!

Breaking New Bingo Story from The USA

Here at Bingo-Room, we aim to showcase the fantastic charitable work that the game of bingo does. There is also the other side to bingo; the side where misconduct by bingo hall employees tarnishes the terrific work that bingo is responsible for. What follows is one such story.

A little history…

In the USA, a couple recently pled guilty to theft from the Matamoras, PA Fire Department. The husband and wife are residents of the community from which the theft occurred. They were both given the prison sentence of 60 days to 23.5 months. The judge also ordered restitution in the amount of $25,984.93.

So where does bingo fit into this picture?

A further requirement is the reporting of financial transactions in excess of $500.00, as a condition of the couple’s parole and probation supervision. The purpose of the financial disclosure is to monitor sources of potential restitution funds. The defendants were officials of the Fire Department: The husband had been the president, and the wife had been the treasurer.

It was simply too much temptation. And there is the worst part: the theft was from the bingo fundraising operations. The couple also admitted making personal expenditures from Fire Department accounts. This is a serious crime, as it is an abuse of official status and sorely undermines public trust. Ongoing and permanent damage to volunteer organizations is caused by this type of theft.

Don’t worry: this is certainly not the norm…

In the public arena, there is no way to reverse the perception that monies contributed to the organization may be stolen by those in charge. The adverse instinct, which is created by crimes of this nature, is that the donation of hard-earned money, even though intended for a good cause, may in fact be thrown in the garbage. A system of checks and balances, involving unrelated individuals, would be beneficial to restoring a modicum of public trust. Further, the use of a Certified Public Accountant, making monthly reports, accessible to the public, of funds received from all activities and monies expended, would put a lid on future embezzlement.

The Conclusion of this Travesty of Justice

Results of the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department investigation led to the convictions. The Assistant District Attorney thanked the police department for its thoroughness in uncovering the crime. Subsequent to the sentencing hearing, the couple was immediately removed to the correctional facility to begin serving their prison sentence. Now that was some story wasn’t it?

Well, there you have it folks. It’s not always strawberries and cream when we talk about bingo, especially when corruption is involved. We can say with total confidence that the positive effects of bingo gaming around the world completely overshadow the isolated incidents such as these that we read about in the news. Join us soon for an exciting new bingo post from a creative bingo fan. Yours, Jeremy Stersky!

Hi there guys, ever now and then it’s great to post some feedback from our readers out there. This week’s post comes from a big fan of www.bingo-room.com named Rebecca, an 81-year YOUNG Mexican gal She’s been playing bingo pretty much most of her life and she loves it. Since she discovered online bingo, she never looked back. Here’s her story – up close & personal at Bingo-Room!

‘Why I love Bingo, by Rebecca Morales’

There is nothing compared to Bingo. It gives people loads of fun, the possibility of making new friends, also money, and amazingly, it revitalizes people’s mind!

Bingo is one of the oldest games ever created. It has been played by generations and I am not the first to experience it; although sometimes I feel that way. At the beginning I didn’t enjoy it. I used to think that people who played bingo were wasting their time… Boy I was so wrong!

When I was a child growing up in Mexico I used to go to fairs every year. I used to have loads of fun playing chopsticks or cat cradle in exchange for a cotton candy or ice cream; however, I remember being very curious about the “adults” gaming zone where people used to play a game called bingo. People there were having so much fun, they were laughing all the time and making new friends. When I turned 12, I was finally allowed to enter; however, after learning the rules and playing some games I could not understand why people liked it so much. The years passed and I thought that people who play this type of game were wasting their time, but I was completely mistaken.

And here’s my bingo story

My name is Rebecca, I’m a Mexican 81 year old lady who adores bingo. I started playing when I got married. My husband had a group of friends who would usually gather together every Wednesday to play bingo. At the beginning I didn’t like it so much, but after a couple of months, I would be yearning for the next Wednesday to arrive.

We used to play for different prizes. Since we all were newlyweds, the prizes would usually be household items. I remember the first time I won; the prize was the most modern refrigerator of the time! And don’t forget we are talking about the 1950’s. I was so thrilled that I started crying. However, besides all the prizes, what I enjoyed the most, was the company. I met my best friends in those weekly meetings, and as we always say: we got to admit that bingo united us.

In those times, casinos in Mexico were prohibited. We didn’t care since we were used to play in our homes, but when some private companies started opening casinos clandestinely, we were the first ones to be there. It was dangerous, but it was great! All the adrenaline of being in a secret place was addictive for all of us. Those were the best times of my life.

Years went by, and little by little we stopped our weekly meetings. We all had many other responsibilities, we started to have babies, and it became difficult to meet, especially in such a big city like Mexico, where moving from one place to another might take hours. It was sad, but it didn’t last forever. We started on our new journey: Online Bingo!

Wow! You might think I am really addicted to bingo right? But let me explain something. Bingo has a lot of benefits. Besides the fun and the winning, it has been proven that bingo rejuvenates people’s brains. The fact that all the time you need to be concentrating in order to be able to coordinate what you see, what your hear and what you mark in your card, helps to exercise the brain and to keep it in shape, which is very important, especially for older people like myself.

But, going back to the previous point, we were introduced to online bingo, and that definitely changed our lives. Since online bingo offers chats, me and all my friends, were able to decide in which room to play in order to be together and talk. That was amazing and I had a great time. I also met new great friends and even had the opportunity to find some old friends from college. I didn’t know that online bingo was so popular in Mexico.

The best part of all is that I am able to play from my home as in old times. That is very comfortable and also gives me the opportunity to avoid going out at night since I can play at any time of the day. Besides that, I was surprised to find out about educational online bingo games for kids. I use them to play with my grandchildren and we became more united.

In few words, I love bingo for many reasons, but specially, because it has united me with my friends and family.

And there you have it: straight outta the mouths of babes! Bingo is clearly the international favourite and we’ll be featuring the top stories from bingo players everywhere. Stay glued to your screens right here at bingo-room, it’s going to get plenty exciting. To all our friends and fans out there, keep on sending your feedback. Bingo-Room is just getting started

Over the past couple of months there has been a notable increase in crimes taking place at traditional bingo halls. This has being occurring in the United Kingdom and the United States in particular. Luckily though, there is a safe haven, and it’s online bingo.

There is little doubt that bingo aficionados – especially traditional bingo gamers – have been experiencing levels of unease across the United Kingdom and indeed parts of the United States. And this has precious little to do with the fact that bingo games in traditional venues are less popular; it has to do with the spate of crimes taking place in bingo halls. Naturally, when I read about these incidents (and I’ve been reading about them for a long time now), I was pretty disappointed. Here is a game that really brings people together – across the board. And it seems to be bringing in a lot of the ruffians too, because these folks realise that bingo is popular. And there are benefits to committing armed robberies at bingo halls. Really, really disappointing L

What is Really Going On?

Various bingo sites, news outlets and newspapers have been reporting with alacrity about the rise in bingo robberies. All sorts of criminal activities are being perpetrated against bingo hall venues, including armed robbery, money-laundering, hostage taking and even petty theft. It seems more like something out of a Hollywood script, than it does an actuality in traditional bingo hall venues. Be that as it may, there are many ways in which patrons of this popular game can safeguard themselves. Just the other day I read about yet another bingo robbery. The incident took place at Neuse River Beach Bingo, as cars raced along South Queen Street. Two armed gunmen roared the establishment of $2,000, much to the chagrin of the bingo hall owner. According to testimony received by the investigating officers, 1 criminal was armed with a handgun, and the other had a black pistol. Both men sported white bandannas, hoodies, baseball hats and latex gloves. It’s a sad indictment of the levels of frustration and brazen criminal activity taking place. Now as you all know I’m a proponent of the game at traditional venues and online venues too. What I’m not aiming for is trying to create an influx from one to the other. I believe – as does everyone at www.bingo-room.com – that the gaming arena has room for both versions of the game.

A Few Safety Tips for You and Yours

If at all possible, avoid crime-ridden areas where bingo halls operate

Play bingo in big groups – carpool if necessary

Request information from the Bingo Hall owners if there are security measures in place to safeguard against such attacks

Limit the amount of cash that you carry on your person and try to leave valuable jewelry at home

Another Option for Bingo Fans

As you already know, my area of expertise is the online bingo gaming arena. I have long been proposing is switch to online bingo, by dint of the fact that it is easier to play, more convenient to play and readily accessible to anyone with an Internet connection. Of course, this only applies if you are in a geographic location, allowing for bingo gaming, and you are of legal age to play.

Online bingo games provide you with multiple benefits including the following:

Play bingo games at any time of day or night

Enjoy a wide range of no deposit bingo bonuses and signup bonus offers

Experience the thrill of multiple bingo side games, progressive jackpot games and even free bingo games online

Play bingo for free, or for 1 penny 5 pennies or 10 pennies per game – the choice is yours

Enjoy real-time chat with your bingo pals online – this is something you cannot do during traditional bingo games

Learn bingo lingo, shoot the breeze with the CM, and win chat bingo prize

All in all, it’s easy to see why there are so many proponent of online bingo. Further, owing to the really diverse nature of the bingo gaming audience (coupled with the highly social nature of the game), you can expect to find a lot more younger players enjoying bingo games online. Safety is never a concern at online bingo rooms – especially the licensed and regulated bingo rooms. Your money is as safe as houses. Play to your heart’s content, according to your bankroll requirements where ever you find yourself. Players the world over agree: online bingo is definitely the way to go!

Please share your thoughts with us about this article here at bingo-room.com. We really appreciate all feedback that we receive and we will get back to you in a timely manner. Until then had the gaming bingo fans!

Hi there bingo fans! It’s great to be back on to be sharing a fantastic new week with you guys. We’re always on the lookout for exciting news stories, bingo games, charitable events and social initiatives. Fortunately, this week’s bingo room blog post is locked and loaded with lots of fanfare. Enjoy the attractions!

On Friday, 13 April 2012, I was browsing for news on bingo-related stories. My mind was sold of flitting in between thoughts of horror movies on the telly and the work at hand. Fortunately, the latter won over and my mates and I came up with quite a few great stories for you guys. Our first story takes place in Spain – a fantastic destination for good times, vacationing and yes, even bingo. News has recently emerged that a new electronic bingo game will be premiering in Spain. This exciting addition to the gaming arena will be featured in the Spanish FER exhibition. And here’s the great part: it runs on a system very similar to that of roulette games. The name of the game is Bingoson and it was developed by Juno Gaming. The game showcases a series of electronic roulette wheels that randomly selected bingo numbers for the players. Scores of people were in attendance when this game showcased. I know that I’m really looking forward to seeing this game in action as bingo is really near and dear to my heart. This exciting addition to the entertainment arena is being brought to Spain by Comatel. And it’s pretty easy to understand: 9 players participate, and they are each allowed to play up to 16 cards at one time. The gaming companies partnering to make this project a reality include Juno and Amusgo. The game itself was developed in Taiwan and Japan, and plans are afoot to bring the game to Argentina in Poland. Sounds like it’s going to be a big yet and we look forward to reading many favourable reviews about this development.

Rotary Club Bingo Takes Hold

Here’s a story that is bound to tickle your good deed senses! If you’re a sociable person and you love to help out in your local community then you may wish to read this article because I assure you it’s plenty interesting. April is certainly the month of big bingo enterprise. That’s because the Big Buck Bingo fundraiser is coming and it will be hosted by the Buffalo Rotary Club. The goal of the Big Buck Bingo fundraiser is to bring in lots of cash for the Rotary Youth Exchange Program (RYEP). Rotary International is a collection of clubs from all parts of the world. Further there are not affiliated with any religious group, and they have 30,000 clubs and 1.2 million members. At Buffalo High School, the Rotary Club has had a terrific impact on the students. For example one of the students will be travelling to Ecuador over the summer and another student from Argentina will be hosted. The goal is to create a true international cultural exchange program where students will enjoy one year in a foreign country. The fundraiser was actually held at the Catholic Recreation Hall in St John the Baptist Church. Ticket prices started at $20 a pop. And 2 bingo boards were available with each ticket purchased. As always at these bingo fundraisers there is good cheer, merriment and food waiting to be enjoyed.

Those are just a sampling of the many fantastic initiatives currently being showcased by way of bingo games. If you know of any bingo fundraisers or charitable drives being held in your local community, feel free to post a comment right here on bingo-room and will gladly share it with our bingoheads online. Have a terrific day and remember: enjoy the game!

Just because it says it’s free, doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily so in the world of online bingo bonuses. Free bingo money or free bingo bonuses often come at a price. Let’s explore what all of this means to online bingo players.

I’ve been commenting on bingo gaming activity for quite some time. We’ve touched on a myriad of related content, ranging from entertainment to education, welfare and good old gaming variety. Indeed it’s not every day that a game is as versatile and exciting as our favourite. And with so much competition for gaming patrons comes plenty of enticements. This is the subject of this post – bingo bonuses – the stuff you need to know but are rarely told.

What is the truth about these free bingo bonuses?

When you see an online bingo site offering free bingo cash to play your choice of 75-ball, 80-ball or 90-ball bingo, you’re going to be doing backflips. Free cash! Got to get some of that right? Not always. Sadly free offers oftentimes come with a caveat: you can use the ‘free cash’ to game with and to win with, but you’re not going to be able to cash out until you’ve met with the ‘turn requirements’ or ‘wagering requirements.’ This slice of information often shocks first-time bingo gamers. Why would a site gift you cash and then make you wager 10 or 20 times the free bonus amount before you can cash out? It’s all number crunching folks – it’s how bingo rooms keep the players coming in and it’s how they keep their proverbial doors open.

Bingo bonuses are non-cash redeemable. That’s to say you cannot redeem them for real money. They can be converted into playing points – but that’s pretty much it. And more importantly when you’ve got an online bingo bonus you’re going to want to watch the date. Because they’re mostly good for a month at a time – no longer – that means that the WR need to be met within the designated time frame. It is also possible – though unlikely – that some bingo rooms will preclude you from receiving your bonus when you cash out your bingo dosh. It’s worth checking into that – and I always advise players accordingly. Some bingo critics have made the point that bingo bonuses are crafty little critters – they’re there to get you to wager your full deposit and then some. It’s a way of keeping you in the action while luring you ever deeper. I’m not so sure because there are a good many decent online bingo rooms providing top-tier bonuses.

What’s Jeremy’s advice?

Take a tip from an old pro. Use the bonus cash to its full advantage. When you’ve met the wagering requirements cash out whatever winnings you have. The bonuses are NOT a scam and neither should you feel foolish for thinking you can take the bonus cash and cash out. They are there for both the operator and the player to enjoy.

It’s Easter time and bingo gaming pundits are going to love what gaming operators have got planned. Come the 7th April, kids, adults and vacationers will be relishing the prospects of Easter across the UK. Here at Bingo-Room we’ve got a little surprise package planned.

Greetings bingo fans and welcome to this latest blog post. I’ve been pondering about how best to celebrate the upcoming Easter holidays. And thanks to my cousins Trey and Racquel in Cornwall we’ve managed to come up with an exciting little way to play bingo with the whole family. Oftentimes you hear that bingo and games like it are strictly gambling games. But this isn’t true in the slightest. Here at Bingo-Room we’re working hard to be completely community-oriented and in so doing allowing players from far and wide (across demographic strata) to enjoy the trappings of bingo gaming. And for this we’ve managed to generate a thriving online bingo community.

The 8th April is Finally Here…

From a purely celebratory perspective, Easter is one of the most anticipated holidays on the calendar. It ranks alongside Christmas as a fun-filled weekend for families across the world. Here in the UK it’s enjoyed with gusto. And when you throw a bingo spin onto things, it gets plenty exciting. We were scouring the web recently and found a host of online bingo gaming sites and card generator sites. These are gearing up for bingo and Easter in a big way. Take a look at this really cute Easter-themed bingo card. It lists only 16 squares on a 4 x 4 grid Naturally if you’re playing with the family then the rules of 75 ball bingo and 90 ball bingo needn’t apply and you can play according to a different format.

With the family around you’ll want to provide loads of Easter-themed bingo prizes such as Easter Eggs, candy, teddy bears (rabbits and bunnies), keychains, toys and other cute items. This will be quite alluring to the little ones and they’re be plenty eager to get in on the action. Developing bingo questions to match up with the pictures on these bingo cards is going to be a little more challenging. But it’s certainly nothing that a little creative flair won’t overcome. You can use things like TV Shows, animated characters, traditional Easter terms and expressions or even personalized pictures to adorn the bingo cards. The point is that the kids should be able to identify with the characters on their cards. The bingo caller can dress up in a funny costume and be sure to provide crisps and drinks for the little ones. Make a meal of it! It’s sure to get everyone excited while that Easter meal is cooking away on the stove

If you’ve got ideas for Easter bingo then why not send them on over to us at Bingo-Room. Take care and enjoy the holidays!
