Enjoy Black Tie Bingo – the Gentleman’s Choice!

Black Tie Bingo is a really exciting way to play bingo at charitable events, bingo parlors and high-class gatherings. Remember you’ve got to suit up to participate and it’s high stakes bingo for a good cause. Enjoy the crème de la crème of Bingo gaming extraordinaire!

Just the other day I was looking through the newspapers and I found something that I liked. It was a charitable drive for a new trauma x-ray unit at a local hospital. With my curiosity piqued, I continued to read on in earnest. A local hospital was in need of funding to purchase the new machinery and equipment and they were appealing to people – from the local community – in a way that works – via Bingo! But this was no ordinary bingo drive that was being featured. It was a Black Tie Bingo evening. Now, if you will afford me the opportunity, I’d like to give just a tidbit of information on what Black Tie Bingo is all about. It’s bingo the way James Bond likes it: slick, suave and sophisticated. You can imagine – the high stakes bingo games on offer, the expensive buy-ins and the cocktails, delicacies and hors de oeuvres aplenty. Yum!!!! I’m salivating at the very thought of this type of bingo gaming. And typically the type of bingo game that Black Tie Bingo events cater to is 75 and 90 ball bingo. Those are the standard variants – much like in online bingo games.

Attending a Black Tie Bingo Event: What to Bring and What to Do?

If you’re fortunate enough to crack an invitation to a Black Tie Bingo evening, then you’re going to want to be prepared for this event. It’s nothing like you’ve experienced in the bingo gaming arena before. It’s akin to immersing yourself in a luxurious, splendiferous Monte Carlo casino for VIP players. It’s like stepping on the royal carpet at the Palace or the red carpet at the Oscars – it’s that good. And as soon as you enter you’ll want to be sure you’re dressed to the nines too. If you’re lucky enough to have a date – bring one! And it’s always a good idea to bring plenty of cash with you too. Black Tie Bingo events are expensive affairs – usually because there’s a need to raise significant cash. So remember to bring all your friends in Mr. American Express, Mrs. Visa, Mr. MasterCard, Dr. Diners Club and company. Remember – as with all events – cash is King – so remember to bring the Sterling with you too! And it’s good to know that wherever you are in the world, Black Tie Bingo is readily available. I ran a quick search for it online and I found lots of BTB events from Canada, to the USA, the UK, Australian and South Africa.

Why Black Tie Bingo? Here’s What You Need to Know!

Let me put it to you folks this way: Black Tie Bingo is basically about one thing and one thing only – MONEY! The games are set up to raise as much cash as possible. They are ostentatious, grandiose and opulent affairs. They are the types of bingo venues that showcase the ritzy crystal, the expensive champagne (Dom Perignon) and cheese and wine etcetera. But the whole point is to get the rich folks – yours truly excluded L – to buy into the affair. And the goal is usually to raise money for a really good cause. You’re talking wealthy donors, patrons and worthy causes here – just the way we like it. Quoting a website: ‘…these events are usually hosted in lavish hotels or stately homes and are strictly a black tie affair.” (Source: Bingo Reviewer). Gifts include the likes of iPads, cash prizes, vacations and more.

Let us know how you enjoyed your Black Tie Bingo evening. We’d love to share your stories right here on Bingo-Room. Until then – keep donating, keep playing Bingo and Enjoy the New Year – Jeremy Stersky  :)
