2010 has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but the great news is that we’ve come through it intact. Bingo-Room has powered its way up the online bingo charts winning plenty popularity contests among readers and players alike. It’s my pleasure to report back to you folks with the fantastic news of our determination to power into the New Year.
This year has been nothing short of spectacular. Plaudits aside, I have to confess to sharing the hopes and dreams of millions of others who are seeking stable employment, housing security and an improved quality of life. I take my hat off to everyone who has helped me to put Bingo-Room on the map. My goal was to develop an interactive online bingo room which showcases everything good that the game of bingo can offer fans and patrons. That’s it in a nutshell and you guys have certainly helped to make this a knockout site.
We now have over 450 Facebook fans, scores of readers on each of the posts written and lots of commentary on blogs, forums and other gaming sites around the world.
Some of the biggest news stories this year include the following:
- £84.4m EuroMillions lottery winner emerges to claim prize
- Virtue Fusion, Dragonfish and NYX Interactive won awards at the 2010 eGaming B2B Awards.
- The North Korean Standoff
- The Iranian Nuclear Program
- The FIFA 2010 World Cup
- The Troop Reduction in Afghanistan
As we move into 2011, it’s customary to reflect on the year that was. 2010 has seen multiple events unfolding in a renewed Mid-East peace initiative, a Republican resurgence in the USA, bailouts for Ireland and Greece and many natural and drilling disasters.
The good news is that equilibrium is being restored, consumer confidence is back and Christmas Season spending is back to what it used to be. That’s the great news for the economy, which is ultimately fantastic news for bingo players.
More expendable money this festive season means more money for bingo games (which are already so cheap) and more player participation. On a personal level, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this year. I’ve had the pleasure of multiple trips abroad – notably the Las Vegas excursion which I reported on.
What’s on your agenda for the New Year?
At Bingo-Room we’re a community and your wellbeing is what concerns all of us. Share your hopes and dreams for a prosperous 2011 with fellow readers and players. Whether you’re looking for a new job, a dream vacation, a jackpot win or two or even saving up for something extra nice – I’d like to hear about it.
Drop us a line right here and I’ll be sure to compile a blog post with the most interesting – or outlandish – New Year’s resolutions. Get your game on right here at Bingo-Room and enjoy our free selection of quality offerings.
