90 Ball Bingo Game

90 Ball BingoThere is one reason and one reason alone why Bingo popularity has surged in recent years: it’s an easy game to play. Of course there are those peripheral reasons like Bingo being the most fantastic, fun-filled community-style game in the world – but those can be placed on the backburner for now. 90-Ball Bingo is the cornerstone of Bingo’s success. From the United Kingdom to continental Europe this Bingo variety holds the trump card.

It’s much like 75-Ball Bingo, only a little different for a more discerning audience of classic-style Bingo players. The major differences lie in the number of calls, the Bingo card, the number of Bingo balls and way you register victory.

The Bingo Card for 90-Ball Bingo

Typically a 90-Ball Bingo card is marked with a square grid comprising 27 blocks – 3 rows and 9 columns. As soon as the Bingo game kicks off, then online players will automatically have the numbers marked off for them. Bingo has all manner of winnings – fill 1 line and win a small prize; fill the entire block and you hit Bingo gold. The beauty of this type of Bingo game is that there are progressive jackpots where plenty can be won. But be forewarned: this is no mean feat. This particular version of online Bingo is well suited to the UK market where its foothold is strong.

Comparing the 90-ball version to the 75-ball version

The main difference between the varieties is that 90-ball Bingo cards have 3 rows and 9 columns. And on those cards, there are 5 squares in each row containing numbers anywhere from 1 to 90. The winning patterns comprise these combinations:

  • 1 Line Across - The 1st player to correctly cross off any horizontal line wins
  • 2 Lines Across – The 1st player to correctly cross off any 2 horizontal lines wins
  • The Full House - The 1st player to correctly cross off all 3 lines wins a mega-jackpot

Getting into it: 90-Ball Bingo

Recall that in a 90-Ball Bingo game there are 27 squares in total on the Bingo grid. And there are 5 numbers appearing in each of the rows, whilst the remaining 4 remain blank. In total, there are 15 numbers on the Bingo ticket.  An exciting component of this online Bingo game is that players can buy 6 groups tickets (each group is known as a Strip) simultaneously. That totals some 72 online Bingo tickets for any one game.

Winning on the online Bingo version is incredibly simple. Because everything is automatically generated – from the Random Number Generators to the winning combinations, you will know the moment you have scooped a prize. So it’s always a good idea to buy more tickets so that you can increase your chances of winning those mega-prizes.
